Sometimes it is hard to find what works best for you and it might take a little bit of adjusting to find your fit. Here I have five tips that will help you feel more motivated and productive.

1) Sleep

Sleep is extremely important when it comes to your health. Getting sufficient rest will provide you with more energy throughout the day and keep you more alert. Aim for 8 hours a night.

2) Water

Water is a key component to a healthy diet and it is critical for digestion. Water consumption helps get rid of toxins and fights inflammation and irritation. Try to drink about half of your body weight in ounces (e.g. 110 lbs/2= 55 lbs--- 55 oz).

3) Wake up early

As mentioned before, sleep is very important, but if you go to bed early it gives you the ability to wake up early. Waking up early allows you to have more productive hours in the day and you can get so many things done before most people wake up which means no interruptions.

4) Eat fruits and/or veggies with every meal

If you make it a staple to eat fruits and veggies with every meal then you will be on the road to success. Getting your daily nutrients is so important and if you space out all your fruits and veggies for the day then it will seem much easier to incorporate these foods.

5) Exercise

Exercise has been shown to increase energy and productivity levels. It is so important to get our bodies moving everyday. This will reduce the risk of chronic illness and obesity, but more importantly you will feel so much better. Aim for 30 minutes of movement each day (e.g Take a brisk walk, do yoga, go to the gym).

Doing even just a few of these things will help you feel so much better and it will lead you to eventually finding what works best for you and what makes you feel healthy.
